JCS Special Edition Soloist SL1 Fighter is the twin brother of the JCS Special Edition Soloist SL1 Bombshelle. These two share the same identical specs sheet, except few minor details and a graphic art theme on the top. Bombshelle features a bomber plain and a pin up girl, while the Fighter features Air Force insignia and camouflage colors. Fighter is finished in gloss and has chrome-plated hardware. Also, it has a reversed headstock pointing upwards, whereas the Bombshelle model has the regular one pointed downwards. SL1 Fighter comes with a solid and double-cut body made of alder and a quarter-sawn maple neck with speed contour in the back. On the top of the body, there is a Floyd Rose double-locking bridge and a set of three Seymour Duncan pickups. Bridge position is fit with a full-sized humbucker, while the middle and neck positions have the Classic Stack pickups. Master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch are found in the controls unit. Maple neck is fast and slim and features a 24-fret ebony fingerboard on it`s top. Jumbo-sized frets, 1-11/16" wide locking nut and compound 12"-16" radius complete the fingerboard.
