Custom Select series is the king of the Jackson hill. It offers a set of exclusive, limited edition guitars with a strong `80s vibe (Jackson`s golden era of domination over metal stages around the world). JCS Special Edition Soloist SL1 Slimer is a simple triple-pickup metal axe with a locking bridge, 24-fret fingerboard and majestically comfortable neck. Its simple and flat alder body rock the iconic `80s Soloist contour and the "Slimer" green paint job over it. Back of the neck and the headstock are also green (top of the headstock is, however, black). DiMarzio DP100 Super Distortion in the bridge is the only confirmed pickup and judging by the photos provided on the official Jackson Guitars site, two additional stacked humbuckers fill the middle and neck positions. Original Floyd Rose bridge and Gotoh tuners (Jackson`s favorite hardware combo in the `80s) wrap up the list of major specs. With a price tag of $4,488.06, Slimer is a bit more affordable than its True Blue and Red Dragon brethren.
