Kelly is one of the core models of the Jackson catalog. It has been in production since 1982 (two years after the brand`s debut), but it came to prominence in the early 90`s when Marty Friedman of Megadeth started using it extensively both on stage and in studio. For 2016, Kelly range has received several models and the JS Series Kelly JS32T is one of the best examples of what a $350 guitar can look, play and sound like. Bolt-on construction, full 25-1/2" scale, passive Jackson electronics, black-clad Jackson hardware and fantastic neck make this Kelly a favorite in the under $500 range. Solid and flat body of this workhorse Kelly is made of poplar and is paired with a one-piece neck made of maple. The neck rocks the standard Speed profile in the back, making blazing fretwork a breeze. On its top, there`s the fantastic 24-fret rosewood fingerboard (1-11/16" nut, compound 12"-16" radius and jumbo frets). Electronics section is Jackson`s own (a feature reserved for the opening JS series) and includes a pair of High Output humbuckers with zebra coils and simple controls (volume, tone, three-way toggle switch). String-through tune-o-matic bridge and Jackson`s own die-cast tuners (both clad in black) complete this six-string warrior.
