King V models are one of essential parts of Jackson`s current catalog, as well as legacy. This V-shaped beasts helped forge what is today known as metal music with their radical design, which screamed rebellion and their thunderous tone. Pro Series is being thoroughly reconstructed for the fall 2012 and two brand new King Vs are being introduced. One of them is KVMG Pro Series King V which comes in snow White and Black. Both options are finished in high gloss. Body of KVMG is a classic Jackson V made of alder wings and maple center, as it features neck-through-body type of neck joint/body construction. Alder and maple base is then covered with plain maple veneer on the top. Bridge section is series` standard one, as it features recessed Floyd Rose tremolo with locking nut on the other side of the 25-1/2" scale. Pickups are V standard for Pro Series, active humbuckers made by EMG. 81 in the bridge and 85 in the neck, to be exact. These hell raisers are controlled through master volume, master tone and three-way toggle pickup switch. Three-piece maple neck is equipped with speed contour and oil finish. On top of the neck, Jackson installs an ebony fingerboard made with 24 jumbo frets and shark tooth inlays. Radius is compound and measures from 12" at the nut to 16" towards the bridge. Jackson installs their own tuning machines on the headstock. They are painted in black and arranged in an in-line pattern.
