SL2Q Pro Series Soloist is essentially the same as SL2 Pro Series model, with the exception of quilted maple top on SL2Q. This quilted top adds another dimension of elegance and prestige to soloist body style, and with high gloss finish and black chrome hardware, this Soloist has looks that kill. Put that in Transparent Red and Transparent Black color options and it`s like a royal flush. Body is made in familiar Jackson`s Soloist contour and features neck-through-body construction. Body is made of alder, high quality selection. Binding applied around the top of the body is white for both the black and red variant. There is no pickguard installed onto the top of this axe. Bridge section is identical to the one found on SL2 and it includes a recessed Floyd Rose bridge with locking nut across the scale. Pickups installed on this one are made by Seymour Duncan. The H/H combo includes JB HB4 in the bridge and '59 with direct mount in the neck position. Master volume, master tone and three-way toggle pickup switch comprise the simple and deadly effective controls unit. Maple neck is made of three pieces of wood and sports speed contour. It runs through the body and it`s topped with a 24 jumbo fret fingerboard made of ebony. 12"-16" compound radius and 1-11/16" wide string nut complete the fingerboard. Same as on SL2, Jackson die-cast tuning machines are placed in in-line arrangement.
