Pro DK2MHT is one of Pro DK2 models introduced at the NAMM 2013. There`s a total of four of them and they feature pretty much uniform specs lists. This series is made for metalheads who like their electronics passive and fingerboards made of maple. Overall styling, features and tone of these models leans towards the '80 shred tone and glam metal. This style of guitars is enjoying the resurgence in popularity in recent years and Jackson is catching up with competition. Pro DK2MHT is a classic-shaped double-cut guitar with flat top and super deep cutaways. It is made of alder and has no top wood covers, or pickguards installed. Back side of the body is contoured for improved comfort. Bridge section features a standard hardtail bridge with six saddles and string-through construction. Seymour Duncan supplies the pickups. Passive JB humbucker is in the bridge position and '59 in the neck. They feature series standard controls setup with master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch. Neck on this model is made of maple and it is attached to the body with a bolt-on joint. On it`s top Jackson installs a 24-fret maple fingerboard. Tuners are Jackson locking.
