Pro DK2QHT is one of four Pro DK2 models introduced for 2013. They made their debut at the NAMM show, along with the rest of the 2013 updates from Jackson. Models of this line come with pretty similar specs and are oriented towards players who aim for the styling and tone of the '80s Soloist models and shred/glam metal scene. That being said, these models can also appeal to younger players who are searching for an alternative to the low-tuned angular axes with active electronics. Pro DK2QHT comes with a classic double-cut body made entirely of alder. Flat on top, it features contoured back and deep cutaways. These cutaways help players reach the upper frets with ease. Hardtail bridge is featured in the bridge section and it comes with string-through construction. Pickups on this model are passive Seymour Duncan humbuckers. JB is in the bridge and '59 in the neck. Master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch complete the controls unit. Maple neck is almost the industry standard for alder bodies and this model is no exception. Maple neck is bolted to the body and it`s topped with a 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Jackson tuners are found on the headstock.
