PS1 is a solid-bodied, double-cut guitar made in the vein of classic shred axes from the 1980s. It`s all there from the bolt-on neck joint, to the H/S/H pickups configuration, to the Floyd Rose bridge. PS1 kicks off with a solid, double-cut body made of alder. It features flat top, contoured back and glossy finish. Top of the body is partially covered with a plastic black pickguard. Fiery Red color is the only color option for this model. Licensed Floyd rose tremolo bridge is paired with a locking nut on the fingerboard. Pickups department consists of passive Jackson pickups with classic open-coil design. Standard bolt-on maple neck is equipped with a 24-fret fingerboard. Jumbo-sized frets are marked with white dot inlays.

This review is pretty spot on. I have a PS-1. It plays lightning fast and sounds great. Still looks exceptional after nearly 20 years, though it hasn't been played all that much. An awsome value for money shredding guitar.
Good beginner guitar.
