PS37 is a seven-stringed Rhoads model from the Performer series in Jackson catalog. It is the only seven-string guitar in this series. It comes with a solid, flat-top body made of poplar. Poplar is one of substitute options for alder. Alder is a brand-wide standard tone wood and poplar, basswood and others replace it on budget-friendly models. Performer models are envisioned as the next logical step after the beginner`s level guitar. This one comes clad in black with high gloss finish and black hardware. PS37 rocks a licensed Floyd Rose bridge. In front of the bridge, a pair of Jackson humbuckers is installed. Neck on this model is made of maple and it is bolted to the body. 22-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood.
