Soloist is probably the most important body shape in Jackson`s catalog. It exists around thirty years and is one of the key models in the evolution of the super strat guitars. Second decade of the 21st century finds the Soloist in better shape than ever. Numerous models are being produced and sold through multiple series of the catalog. Soloists come with alder bodies, mahogany bodies, basswood bodies, set, bolted and through-body necks, passive and active electronics. SL3MG Soloist w/ EMG is a solid-bodied guitar made of alder base and flame maple top. It features a Floyd Rose tremolo system in the bridge section. In it`s front, Jackson installs EMG81 and 85. Maple neck runs through the body and it`s topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.

Excellent guitar for the money. got mine used for $ 900.00. Guitar was meant for searing leads and raunchy chops. I did add a BigBrassBlock and swapped the pick ups to Seymour Duncan Blackouts. SICK LOL
