Standard construction for USA Select Soloist models includes solid, double-cut bodies made of alder wings with maple center. Construction-wise, Soloists feature carved tops, contoured backs and neck-through construction. Also the cutaways are deep to allow easier access to the upper frets. USA SL2H-MAH Soloist features all of that, but with one very important distinction. Sides of the body are made of mahogany, instead of the standard alder. Carved flame maple top is there, neck-through construction and contoured back, as well. Natural color with high gloss finish is the only one available for this model. Six-saddled Floyd Rose double locking tremolo bridge is fronted by a pair of Seymour Duncan pickups. Neck is made of maple and it features a 24-fret ebony fingerboard on top.
