SLATXMG 3-6 Soloist is one of twelve Soloists Jackson introduced into the X range at this year`s NAMM. The sheer number of introduced models speaks volumes about Jackson shifting focus to the lower segments of the market. It is Soloist`s main task to win over as many young metalheads, as possible in 2015, and Jackson spared no effort to come up with a killer lineup. SLATXMG 3-6 model rocks a carved top, EMG pickups, double-locking bridge, neck-thru construction and a 24-fret fingerboard. A features list some upper intermediate and professional guitars would be proud of. This EMG-powered Soloist comes with a solid basswood body with a maple neck running through its core. On the top, a Floyd Rose Special bridge holds the tuning and intonation in check, while the 81 and 85 humbuckers provide the "extra metal growl". Pickups are equipped with a standard controls unit (one volume, one tone, three-way toggle pickup switch), as well as with black rings. Maple neck sports the famous speed contour in the back, and a rosewood fingerboard on the top. 24 jumbo-sized frets, piranha inlays and the locking string nut are featured on the fingerboard, as well. Jackson`s own die-cast tuners sit on the modern AT-1 headstock.
