X Series Soloist SLX Spalted Maple is one of four X Series Soloist models introduced for 2018. It rocks neck-through-body construction (Soloist`s trademark feature and the main reason for it being largely omitted from the beginner-oriented JS series), a super-fast neck, 25-1/2" scale, double-locking bridge, passive electronics, and stock hardware. The color palette is limited to Natural w/satin finish, white neck binding, black plastic parts, and black headstock. The MSRP is set at $816.31. Other notable features include solid basswood body wings, a one-piece maple neck, 24-fret fingerboard made of dark walnut (1.6875" wide string nut, Shark Fin inlays, 12"-16" radius), Floyd Rose Special bridge, Duncan Designed HB-103B/N humbuckers, and Jackson die-cast tuners.
