MPS 1 is the first of three Monte Pittman signature models in Jarrell catalog. It comes with a solid, double cutaway body made of mahogany back and arched maple top. The top is finished in high gloss and painted white. In the bridge section, Jarrell installs a tune-o-matic/stoptail bar combo. This bridge setup is, as is the rest of the hardware, painted black. in the pickups department Seymour Duncan delivers three pickups in H/S/H configuration. They are controlled through master volume, split tone knobs, five-position blade switch, one killswitch and humbucker on/ff mini-switches. The neck is made of hard maple and it features a set-in joint. Ebony fingerboard comes with a set of 22 frets, wings position inlays and black TUSQ string nut.
