MPS Classic is very similar to the base model of the series, the MPS 1, with the biggest difference being the hardware. MPS Classic has all hardware components made by Jarrell. The body on this model is solid, with double cutaway and it`s made of basswood back and top. The top is carved and finished in gloss. In the bridge section Jarrell installs a tune-o-matic/stoptail bar combo for maximum stability. In the pickups department, Jarrell`s MPS set features H/S/H configuration. Master volume, split tone knobs, humbucker on/off mini-switches and five-position blade switch comprise the controls unit. C-shaped neck is made of maple and topped with a rosewood fingerboard. 22 6100-sized frets, wing position inlays and 1.73" wide Graphtech nut complete the fingerboard.
