Jay Turser`s VS series is based on the classic 60`s body shapes and the now popular vintage/modern electronics & tone. The three currently available models were inspired by the iconic Mustang and Jaguar axes of the period. JT-MG and JT-MG2 belong to the "Mustang" side of the family, while the JT-JG belongs to the "Jaguar" segment. JT-MG2`s main features include a solid and flat body (all-basswood construction, vintage pickguard), passive electronics (slanted single-coil pickups in bridge and neck, and basic controls), and vintage hardware. Sonic Blue, Ivory, and Candy Apple Red color options comprise JT-MG2`s palette. Other notable features include a maple neck (adjustable truss rod), rosewood fingerboard (22 frets, dot inlays), a tune-o-matic bridge w/floating tremolo tailpiece, and die-cast tuners.
