Delta Rose Electric Guitars by Johnson Guitars
JH-100 is a model from the Delta Rose series made by Johnson Guitars. This series belongs to the Hollowbody segment of the Johnson catalog and deals with vintage-styled guitars. Currently, there is only one model in this series. It comes with a single-cut body with fully hollow construction and set in neck joint. Back and sides of this beautiful six-stringer are made of mahogany, while the top is made of spruce (which points to the vintage orientation in the tone area). Bridge section on this model is fit with a classic two-piece set, which is fronted with a pair of active humbuckers. Set in mahogany neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. 24-3/4" scale, 1-11/16" synthetic bone nut and die-cast tuners complete the specs list.

I bought one online one week ago. My first impression was that it was a very beautiful guitar. I tuned it and was not impressed, however, last night after changing the strings, lowering the action and resetting the intonation I was completely blown away. This is one of the best playing, best sounding and versatile guitars that I have ever played. I tried voices from clean all the way to heavy metal distortion and was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful tones that it produced. I own several guitars ranging in value from a couple hundred dollars to several thousand dollars but this is definitely going to be my main go-to guitar of choice for the future. I would highly recommend this guitar for any style of music, and for everybody from beginner to pro. I bought the last one available online for $165.00 plus $35.00 shipping and handling. They are still available online for $239.00, and I would recommend buying as soon as possible because I think that the price will continue to climb. This is my first experience with Johnson Guitars and I am blown away.
Saw one in a second-hand shop; it was old & dirty and the fret-buzz made it unplayable, but it looked interesting. Took it home, tightened the truss rod and ground the frets flat, and it plays really well, sounds OK acoustically, and raunchy plugged in. I really enjoy my Delta Rose; so does my wife, who grabs it for playing in church, where it sounds fine. Haven't even put new strings on it yet. My LP & Strat now stay in their cases most of the time. Someone else called it a poor man's 335. They're made in China now, pretty cheaply, but these are great.
