JS-500 is a model from the Grooveyard series in the Johnson Guitars catalog. The Grooveyard series is a part of the Hollowbody segment and it has only one model in the active lineup. JS-500 is a fully hollow guitar with classic Gibson ES double-cut design and styling. It is made of maple in it`s entirety and it`s paired with a mahogany neck. Top of the body is decorated with an elevated pickguard and a pair of "f" holes. Natural, Cherry Red and Sunburst color schemes are assigned to this model. Classic two-piece bridge section is equipped with a tune-o-matic bridge and stoptail bar. In the front, there are two active humbuckers. Set in mahogany neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
