Assault is one of the main series in Kramer catalog. It deals with affordable single-cut guitars with the classic shred tone of the eighties.
Assault 220 Plus Seymour Duncan is one of two twin Assault 220 Plus models, this one features Seymour Duncan pickups while the other one rocks the EMGs. The body of this mighty Assault six-string is solid, flat and made of mahogany (quilt maple top is optionally available). Set in neck is also made of mahogany (it is a slim and very fast neck). 24-fret fingerboard on its top is made of rosewood.
Electronics section, as it was mentioned, is made up of two Seymour Duncan pickups - Alternative 8 in the bridge and Classic 59 in the neck. Floyd Rose bridge (Trans Red option only, Natural comes with a tune-o-matic) and die-cast tuners complete the fantastic specs list.
