Fat Red is one of the few models in Leather Guitars catalog to feature a Telecaster-shaped body. It is made of alder and it features no bindings or top wood covers. Fat Red, as it`s name suggests has a pair of fat rail humbuckers and red leather overcoat. The headstock is also encased in red leather. The bridge is a modern take on the traditional "tray" bridge featured on the original Teles. Pickups on this model are rail humbuckers laid out in H/H pattern. They are controlled through master volume, master tone and a three-position blade switch. The neck is made of maple and it is bolted to the body. Maple fingerboard is dressed with 22 medium jumbo sized frets and dot position inlays. 25-1/2" scale completes the specs list.
