Saphir is one of the several Strat-like models in Leather Guitars catalog. Just as it`s counterparts, Saphir comes with a double cutaway body made of alder. The entire body is encased in sapphire colored blue leather. The headstock is also encased in the same type and color of leather. Therefore, there are no top woods, bindings or carvings on the top. The bridge on Saphir is a classic tremolo with string-through-body construction and chrome plating. In the pickups department there are three pickups placed in the H/S/S pattern. They are controlled through master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch. Maple neck is bolted to the body and topped with a rosewood fingerboard. 22 medium jumbo frets are covered with dot position inlays. 25-1/2" scale and chrome plated pickguard complete the specs.
