Michael` Kelly`s extensive 1950s series is populated by single-cut guitars inspired by the iconic Fender Telecaster. All of the currently active models sport a combination of Tele`s classic looks (some are more modified than the others) and modern electronics Michael Kelly guitars are known and famous for.
1955 Custom Collection is one of the special models. It is based on the standard 1955 model, with an added ebony top (two versions, one lighter and the other darker, are available). Other than the exclusive top, 1955 CC also features a solid swamp ash back, maple neck (modern C profile, bolt-on construction) and 22-fret fingerboard (compound 10.5"-16" radius, medium jumbo frets, 25.5" scale).
Main hardware and electronics features include a modern Tele bridge, die-cast tuners and Rockfield pickups (humbucker/minibucker layout).
