CC stands for Custom Collection and encompasses models of limited availability. Also, all of the CC instruments have characteristic, different spec sheets. Within the 1950s series, there are several models, completely divided between the 50 and 55 platforms.
CC50 Evolution is, at first sight, a pretty traditional single-cut axe, with 25-1/2" scale, 22-fret fingerboard, 50s Tele styling, and two passive pickups. Butterscotch (w/black plastics, chrome hardware, gloss finish) is the only available color option. Core construction features include a solid swamp ash body, maple neck (Vintage Contour, bolt-on joint), and maple fingerboard (22 medium jumbo frets, black dot inlays, 1.69" bone nut, 25-1/2" scale, 9.5" radius).
Major hardware and electronics features include a Tele bridge, Wilkinson tuners, and Fishman Fluence T-Style pickups (w/Dual Voice mod).
