TD400 is one of seven electric guitar models currently active in Mitchell Guitars catalog. It rocks the traditional, Stratocaster-inspired design as well as electronics and hardware layout. TD400 is a lower intermediate class axe, made primarily for blues, country and rock players.
The body of this traditional six-stringer is flat, offset and made entirely of alder. Strat-styled scratch plate covers a large portion of the top. Oval output jack plate is there, as well. The neck is made of maple, with addition of a rosewood stripe down the middle. It is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, equipped with offset abalone dot inlays, 1.7" TUSQ nut and jumbo-sized frets. Passive alnico V pickups (in HSS arrangement) deliver a versatile tone. Wilkinson trem bridge and die-cast tuners complete TD400.
