John Petrucci F1 BFR is a model from John`s signature series made by Music Man. It is a solid, double-cut guitar, like all guitars in the series. It features a bolt-on joint, beveled edges and contoured back. Body is made of three tonewoods: alder and mahogany for the back and maple for the top. Alder is the principal tonewood for the body, while the mahogany makes up the center block. F1 BFR is available only in Trans Walnut with gloss finish and chrome hardware. Tuners on this six-stringer are Schaller. Bridge section features a non-locking trem bridge with DiMarzio humbuckers installed in it`s front. LiquiFire is in the neck and Crunch Lab in the bridge. Bolted maple neck is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
