DF722FR is virtually the same as the regular DF722, with that it has a Floyd Rose double-locking bridge instead of the standard Parker vibrato with piezo saddles. Floyd Rose trem bridge does not have piezo pickups and DF722FR model only features conventional pickups made by Seymour Duncan. TB6 is in the bridge and SH6 is in the neck position. Controls section includes a master volume, master tone and a blade pickup switch. Combined with the carved alder body, these pickups give a wide range of tones. Some color options on this model also come with flamed maple tops. All of them have black hardware and gloss finish. Neck on this one is made of maple and it features the series standard back contour. 24-fret fingerboard is made of composite materials.
