Parker ranks among the majors in guitar industry, mostly thanks to the innovative design and modern solutions to age old problems. Their premier design is the Fly, solid, double-cut guitar with very characteristic double cutaway and ultra modern headstock design. Fly models are separated into several series in Parker catalog and the Fly Classic offers the essentials of the Fly design. Body of the P-42 model is solid, double-cut and made of mahogany. Metallic Black is the main color scheme for this model. It is finished in matte and features black hardware. Two-piece bridge section has top load construction and it is matched with a set of high quality tuners. Open coil humbuckers have a simple controls unit. Bolted maple neck is topped with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard.
