Solar`s Type E offers a line of mighty six-strings inspired by the classic Explorer design. Heavily updated and muscled-up Type E body is the epitome of heavy and badass. The E2.6 brings the cool to the masses, coming in at only $749. The strongest suits of this six-string warrior include a beveled Type E body, set-in neck w/contoured heel (easy access all the way up to 22nd fret), traditional 24.75" scale, passive electronics, and stock hardware. On Solar`s official site, it`s shown in Carbon Matte (w/matte finish, black hardware, carbon headstock). Other important features include a solid mahogany body, C-shaped maple neck (w/smooth finish), 22-fret fingerboard made of ebony, a two-piece hardtail bridge, Seymour Duncan Solar pickups, and Grover tuners.
