E-1 Standard is Schecter`s take on the classic Explorer concept. It will be launched at 2017 Winter NAMM, along with the rest of the new year novelties. New E-1 pays homage to the classic axe by adopting numerous visual cues from the original, without falling into the clone and ripoff categories. E-1 starts off with a solid and pointy mahogany body (Black is all-mahogany, Sunburst has flamed maple top), set-in mahogany neck (three-piece neck, regular C profile, no carbon fiber reinforcements) and 22-fret rosewood fingerboard (extra jumbo frets, 12" radius, 24-3/4" scale, 1.653" TUSQ string nut). E-1 Standard offers following hardware and electronics options: two-piece tune-o-matic/stoptail bridge (chrome-plated), Schecter Diamond humbuckers and Grover tuning machines.
