Alex Skolnick`s line is getting richer for three new models in 2016 - two ESP and one LTD model. Alex Skolnick FM is one of two ESP entries. It is, basically, a traditional Eclipse single-cut guitar made to Mr. Skolnick`s specs. Signature Seymour Duncan pickups and custom fingerboard inlays are the most obvious and prominent deviations from Eclipse traditions. Other than that, this is your classic ESP Eclipse warhorse, a guitar which will never leave its player stranded. Alex Skolnick FM has a solid and single-cut body made of a mahogany base and a two-piece flamed maple top. Top is bound in cream binding and features two bookmatched pieces of maple. Three-piece mahogany neck has a 16th fret joint in the back and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top (extra jumbo frets, abalone block inlays with a custom 12th fret inlay, 1.69" bone nut, 12" radius). In the pickups section, Alex Skolnick FM boasts a pair of Alex`s signature Seymour Duncan pickups (passive humbuckers with metal covers) with a simple controls unit (two volume knobs, one tone knob with push/pull switch and a three-position pickup switch). Two-piece hardtail bridge and Grover tuners complete this exclusive rocker.
