AS-1FM is one of four signature models ESP and LTD have made for Alex Skolnick of Testament and Skolnick Trio. It is a traditional EC (ESP`s Eclipse is EC in LTD catalog) guitar made to Alex`s specs. The body of this high-end LTD rocker is made of mahogany back and a flamed maple top. Top is bound in white binding. Mahogany neck features the classic set-in joint at the 16th fret (a feature Eclipse/EC models inherited from Les Paul) and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with 1.69" molded nut, 12" radius and block inlays. Seymour Duncan`s SH-4 in the bridge and SH-1 in the neck bring that classic hard `n` heavy tone loved around the world. Two-piece bridge and Grover tuners complete the specs list.
