Back in 1985, Paul Reed Smith and his associates have founded the PRS Guitars as a way of showing their dissatisfaction with then current state of guitar industry. In order to create better guitars than those made back in the 1980s, PRS Guitars have hired numerous top-class luthiers and invested big amounts of money in research and development. It all resulted in PRS becoming one of the leading brands of today. In order to celebrate the quarter of a century of success, PRS has launched a 25th Anniversary series. Custom 24 is one of it`s flagship models. Solid, double-cut mahogany body is topped with a creme-bound flame maple top. Tremolo bridge is plated in chrome and fronted by 57 and 08 humbuckers. Set in mahogany neck is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
