Brent Mason, the country music legend is one of the new signature artist in PRS family. His model is being introduced just in time for the 2013 NAMM show. His magnificent career, master skills around the fretboard and long time love for PRS guitars have granted him the privilege to be chosen as the new PRS signature guitarist. His signature model is named Brent Mason Signature and is currently the only model in his line. This guitar features a more traditional look than other standard PRS guitars, it leans more towards the classic Strat design with it`s pronounced double cutaway design and flat top side of the body. Body is made of mahogany and has no top wood cover. It`s only covered with a plastic pickguard. Bridge section is equipped with a standard PRS tremolo bridge with nickel plating over it. Pickups come in H/S/H configuration and feature Special 408 treble in the bridge, 305 single in the middle and Special 408 Bass in the neck position. Master volume, master tone, two mini-switches and five-position blade switch complete the controls unit. Bolted rock maple neck is equipped with Pattern contour and topped with a 22-fret maple fingerboard. PRS tuners, 25" scale, gloss finish and bird inlays are also featured on this model.
