Hollowbody Spruce is one of several models in the Hollowbody series. It is based upon the standard double-cut design from the Solid Body series. Majority of features is shared with the models of the Solid series, except the body construction. This one comes with a double-cut body made of mahogany back and sides with spruce top. Top is carved, bound in creme binding and decorated with nickel hardware. Spruce is an interesting substitute for the maple top and it gives a special flavor to the tone. Bridge section on this model is made up of a wrap around bar with nickel plating. In it`s front, PRS installs a pair of active humbuckers with standard controls unit. D-shaped mahogany neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
