McCarty 58 is a slightly vintage-styled double-cut guitar from Paul Reed Smith. It takes the standard double-cut concept and spices things up with a pinch of 1950s and 1960s. This marvel belongs to the Solid Body series and is one of the models which represent the best features Solid Body line can offer. Body of McCarty 58 is made of mahogany back and flamed maple top. Gorgeous burst options are offered for this McCarty model and all of them are finished in high gloss. Hardware is plated in chrome on this model. Simple, yet effective wrap around bar bridge is fronted by a pair of active PRS humbuckers. Master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle pickup switch comprise the controls unit. Set in mahogany neck is topped with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard.
