McCarty Hollowbody I is a model from the Hollow Body series in PRS catalog. This series is one of the smallest, but it has a very dedicated fan base around the world. Models from this series are usually based on Solid body series models, which is also the case with McCarty Hollowbody I. It comes with a double-cut body made of mahogany back and flame maple top. Two "f" holes, creme binding, deep PRS cutaway and high gloss finish complete the body of this model. McCarty Hollowbody I has a one-piece bridge section made up of a wrap around bar. In it`s front, PRS installs a pair of active humbuckers plus a piezo pickup under the bridge. Set in mahogany neck has a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on it`s top.
