Paul`s Guitar is Paul Reed Smith`s personal signature guitar. It is a constantly evolving model which changes a bit with every model year. The core, the heart of the guitar remains the same, but the detail change. 2018 model comes in with a double-cut Custom body made of a solid mahogany base and a two-piece figured maple top (the top is offered in Black Nitro Gold), set-in neck joint, and PRS hardware. The electronics section boasts TCI pickups (TCI stands for Tuned Capacitance and Inductance) which were developed together with 635JMs (the ones on John Meyer`s signature). master volume, master tone, two mini-switches and a three-way pickup selector comprise the controls. Other notable features include a mahogany neck (pattern profile), 24-fret rosewood fingerboard, wraparound bridge, and Phase III locking tuners.
