McCarty models have been around since 1994 (almost a quarter of a century) and 2017 Core series lineup of McCarties looks and sounds better than ever. Regular MCarty, McCarty 594 and McCarty SC 594 make the lineup. All are offered in a wide variety of color options, with McCarty Burst being the default option.
McCarty for 2017 kicks off with specs and looks pretty similar to the Custom 22 model. Core construction features include a solid mahogany body, two-piece figured maple top (creme binding, classic PRS profile), mahogany neck (glued-in construction, pattern profile in the back) and 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood (faux bone binding, 25" scale, bird inlays).
Main electronics and hardware features include 58/15 humbuckers, PRS stoptail bridge (wraparound) and PRS Phase III locking tuners.
