Private Stock Electric Guitars by Paul Reed Smith
Private Stock McCarty is one of several PRS models named after legendary president of Gibson Guitars. Ted McCarty was the key man in creation and development of Gibson`s most popular classic models, bridges and pickups. Later on, after departure from Gibson, he mentored Paul Reed Smith.
Private Stock McCarty is an embodiment of Mr. McCarty`s vision of what a solid-bodied guitar should sound, feel and play like. It kicks off with a thick mahogany back and deeply carved flame maple top with curly maple binding around the edges. Set-in mahogany neck rocks a standard pattern profile in the back and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. PRS offers a huge selection of pickups, making none of them the default option. PRS Stoptail bridge and Phase III locking tuners complete this magnificent axe.
