Paul Reed Smith Private Stock Violin II
Private Stock Electric Guitars by Paul Reed Smith
Private Stock Electric Guitars by Paul Reed Smith
As Paul Reed Smith said it, guitars are violins of our age. Moving beyond the statement, Mr Smith has created a Private Stock model in 2009 which he named Violin. It was one of the finest PRS models ever created and Violin II is its successor.
Private Stock Violin II starts off with a solid and double-cut PRS body made of lightweight mahogany back and flamed maple top. Quilt maple, one-piece top and matching headstock veneer are available alternatives. Also, players can choose from a huge selection of colors and finishes. The neck is made of curly maple and is topped with an ebony fingerboard with "Strad" purfling. PRS 57/08 pickups with nickel-plated covers form the default pickup combo. Viloin II comes with either a PRS trem bridge or wraparound tail (also PRS).
