Paul Reed Smith S2 Singlecut Standard (2017)
S2 Electric Guitars by Paul Reed Smith
S2 Electric Guitars by Paul Reed Smith
S2`s Standard tier is significantly more affordable than the Custom, with some models being almost $500 cheaper than their Custom counterparts. The biggest role in the price drop is played by all-mahogany bodies (Custom models have figured maple tops), as well as lack of fancy decorations.
S2 Singlecut Standard is there for all the players who desire a solid, reliable all-mahogany guitar with huge tone. Core construction features include a solid mahogany body (single-cut, beveled, covered with a black pickguard), mahogany neck (Pattern profile, glued to the body) and rosewood fingerboard (22 frets, dot inlays, 25" scale). Five color options are available (four solid, one transparent), all with nickel hardware and gloss finish.
Main hardware and electronics features include a wraparound bridge, locking PRS tuners and #7 humbuckers (w/coil-splitting function).
