SE 277 Baritone is a bit unusual PRS guitar. It is one of still very few baritone-scaled models in the entire catalog. 27.7" is the exact length of the scale, almost three inches longer than PRS`s standard 25" scale. Black Cherry and Tobacco Sunburst are the only available color options. SE 277 Baritone sports a solid and double-cut body made of mahogany base and flamed maple top (two-piece top, matching pieces). Pickguard and binding are out of the picture, as SE series concentrates more on performance than looks. The set-in maple neck with wide fat profile is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. Tone Furnace humbuckers with zebra coils deliver a fat, well balanced tone which leans towards metal more than it does towards traditional PRS tone. String-through hardtail bridge and PRS designed tuners complete the specs.
