SE series is PRS`s entry range, something like Standard series for Fender and Special/Jr series for Gibson. It features electric and acoustic models made of affordable components such as PRS-designed hardware/electronics. Also, SE series models are produced overseas. SE Custom 22 Semi-Hollow kicks off with a semi-hollow, double-cut body made of mahogany base (back, sides) and quilt maple top. The top is bound in creme binding and rocks a classic, offset "f" hole on the bass sides of the bridge. The neck is made of mahogany, has a standard wide thin profile and is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. PRS Original SE pickups (zebra-coiled humbuckers) are featured in the electronics section. PRS-designed wraparound bridge and tuners complete the specs.
