SE lines are reinforced for 2012 with this new SE Custom 24 2012 which was unveiled at the NAMM 2012 Show in Anaheim, Ca. It is an homage to the original 24 Custom made in 1985. this new model comes with refreshed specs and modern features. SE Custom 24 2012 is a solid, double cutaway model with PRS distinctive design. It`s body is made of mahogany back and either a maple or flamed maple top. Glossy finish sits upon all color options available on this SE. The top is carved and features no binding. The neck on SE Custom 24 is made of mahogany and has a wide thin contour. Wide thin is PRS own neck shape and combines wide fingerboard and slim neck contour. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and sports 24 frets with bird position inlays. In the pickup compartment, things are handled by PRS designed SE HFS treble and SE Vintage bass humbucker pickups. They are controlled through master volume, master tone, push-pull switches and a three-position blade switch. The bridge is a PRS made adjustable stoptail bar with nickel plating. 25: scale length, PRS tuning machines and nickel plated hardware wrap the specs for SE Custom 24 2012 model.
