Se Signatures models palette expands in 2012 with several new models. One of the additions is SE Orianthi signature model. Orianthi is one of rare female guitarists who reached superstardom, and also one of very few to have her own signature guitar. Her signature PRS both sounds great and costs a bargain. SE Orianthi hits the scene with a solid, double cutaway body made of korina back and flamed maple top. The top is beveled and carved, but features no binding or pickguards. This model is available only in red color with glitter finish. The bridge is a PRS made non-locking tremolo bridge with six saddles. The bridge is, as all hardware on SE Orianthi, plated in nickel. The pickups are PRS humbuckers, SE HFS treble and SE Vintage bass. They are controlled through a simple and effective controls layout which consists of a master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle switch. The neck for this model is made of maple and features a wide-thin contour with a set-in neck joint. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and equipped with 24 frets and bird inlays. 12th fret of this fingerboard is adorned with a custom "O" inlay. Other features include: 25" scale, PRS tuning machines and nickel-plated hardware.
