PRS SE Korina One comes as a blast from the past. We all remember Gibson`s LP juniors and their distinctive tone and popularity despite what some could call scarcity of features. SE Korina One stems from no frills philosophy which advocates only the necessities be used and applied on the instrument. The quality is another one of main aspects of this view point, as there is no makeup and fancy aesthetics to cover up for bad craftsmanship. So, the SE Korina One comes with a single cutaway body made of korina wood in combination with a korina wood neck. The top is beveled and features no binding. A small black pickguard is placed on the top and vintage amber with gloss finish is the only color available on this guitar. Wide and fat, korina neck is equipped with a bound rosewood fingerboard. 22 frets and a set of bird position inlays give great comfort to the player. There is only one P-90 styled soapbar pickup in the bridge position. It is controlled with only a volume knob, there is no tone control. The bridge is a PRS made stoptail with nickel plating. Other features on SE Korina One include: nickel-plated hardware, 25" scale and PRS tuning machines.
