Even though the seven-stringed models are now as common as the six-stringed, PRS seems to be reluctant to invest more into this segment of the market. Occasional seven-stringers, like this one, do appear but are more of an exception than a rule. SE SVN 2018 is a fantastic seven-stringer; it is based on the regular SE Standard 24 and features extended range pickups, 26-1/2" scale, classic PRS styling, and SE class hardware and electronics. The color palette`s limited to Black Cherry and Gray Black, both with creme binding, nickel-plated hardware, and zebra-coiled pickups. Core construction features include a solid mahogany body, two-piece maple top, set-in maple neck (wide thin profile), 24-fret rosewood fingerboard, seven-saddled hardtail bridge, 85/15 S pickups, and PRS-Designed tuners.
