PXD`s tragic II is one of two models with Tragic name in this series. These models are based on vintage Explorer and Firebird designs. They are best described as double-cut Explorers with flat-top bodies and 24-3/4" scales. Tragic II comes with a solid, double-cut body made of basswood. It is paired with a maple neck (this is the most popular combination of tonewoods in the lower section s of the market, usually the rosewood fingerboard completes the tonewood list).Series standard Satin Black color scheme with black hardware is present on this model, as well. Simple tune-o-matic bridge is fronted by a pair of EMG humbuckers. Maple neck is equipped with a series standard back contour and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on top.
