Peavey`s SC Series is a line of models with Les Paul styled bodies and specs which are offered at the lower portions of the market. The entry model of this series is the SC1 which comes with a solid basswood body with a deep cutaway and carved top. This model comes with a glossy finish and choice of three color options: black, cherry burst and vintage tobacco burst. Two humbuckers are placed at the bridge and neck positions and are controlled through the split volume and tone controls controls and a three-way toggle switch. Unlike the rest of the series the SC 1 has a bolted rock maple neck. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and features 22 jumbo frets, dot inlays and 1.69" nut width. This model`s MSRP is set at $249.

what a sound,traded a ibanez and couldn't be happier. i play the blues and thru a peavey valueking amp&what an experience.also have a preator gives the fender strat a run. in my opinion, if you play play it thru a peavey,baby or the trill is gone! remember the miss,dog is serious on blues. it don't get better than a peavey,she's as sweet as tupelo honey,later and thank's peavey.
