Gladiator Guitars is one of many sub-brands in the Saga catalog. Electric guitars with hard rock and metal orientation are the main focus of the Gladiator Guitars, making them an odd member of the family of mostly acoustic and acoustic-electric brands. Three series exist in their segment, Modern Vintage, Modern and Vintage. IB Style GL-085 belongs to the Modern Vintage series, which mixes the elements of the contemporary and 1970s and 1980s styling. This particular model has a double-cut, Strat-like body made of mahogany. Flat-top GL-085 is offered in black, white and red with satin finish on all three. Trem bridge with string-through construction, three single-coil pickups with a simple controls unit, bolted hard rock maple neck, 24-fret rosewood fingerboard and die-cast tuners are also featured on this model.
